Bangladeshi Hafiz Nuruddin Zakaria Wins First Place in International Qur’an Competition

Bangladeshi Qur’an memorizer Hafiz Nuruddin Zakaria secured first place in the fourth category of the 46th King Abdulaziz International Qur’an Memorisation, Recitation and Tafsir Competition held in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

The competition brought together 334 contestants representing 133 countries. Zakaria competed in the fourth category, which required the memorisation of 15 consecutive Juz of the Holy Qur’an, along with excellence in recitation and Tajweed.

He is a student of Ar Rayhan International Madrasa in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and his achievement marks a significant international accomplishment for Bangladesh.
